Abstract

The diversity of subjects and the diffuseness of the conducted researches on Mirajnamehs have opened a wide perspective for interdisciplinary researchers in Iran in the last two decades. Following the meta-analysis method, the present study identifies, categorizes & examines these researches & their writing process. The results of this study will pave the way for conducting more goal-oriented future studies in the field of researches on Ascension and for choosing more appropriate research topics for researchers interested in this field. The results of the researches on Ascension indicate that up to now, the Ascension has been the topic of numerous pure researches in the literary, religious, historical-mythological, mystical, philosophical, artistic, and interdisciplinary fields; These published researches generally follow the descriptive-analytical method, and the adaptive- comparative approach and are based on the structure of introduction, discussion, conclusion and sources. However, the absence of some research approaches is evident in these studies. Examination of Ascension from the perspective of modern criticism & intertexual, understanding the religious elements of different eras, pursuing the rejection of symbolic, mystical and religious topics in illustration of Ascension, understanding the viewpoints of jurists of different religions about the quality of Ascension, tracing the verses and hadiths of the Ascension in various works, enriching study resources in the field of Ascension. Achieving an acceptable global model for Mirajnamehs and illustration of Ascension, better understanding of the ideology of the Ascensionists and Ascension illustrators, and understanding the types of scene-setting in illustration of Ascension are parts of these approaches.
